Carys is 17 and lives in Essex. Music is her life. As a child of the 90’s she has been inspired by not only the Britpop scene and ‘proper music’ of the mid-’90s, but because of her very recent access to the nightlife of London and the surrounding counties, the house and dubstep movement also make an appearance in her iTunes library. She likes to describe herself as having a varied music collection and loves going to gigs and festivals with her friends.
She still lives in the family home with her mum and dad however she works at the weekend in a high end fashion house and without any dependents or family responsibilities, she has high disposable income to spend on herself.
Because of her job, Carys is also a dedicated follower of fashion and likes to be ahead of trends. This is why she likes to read (my music magazine) so that she can discover new music, as well as up and coming trends that she can really get excited about.
She is also very good with technology and likes to have all the new gadgets. She uses social networking sites and online services to aid her life in every way possible, from shopping to communication. She will also use this technology to find new music from bands on MySpace and links posted by friends on Facebook.
